Job Title: Web Server Administrator

Job Overview: As a Web Server Administrator, you will be responsible for the management, configuration, and maintenance of web servers to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. You will collaborate with other IT professionals to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot web server environments, ensuring seamless operation of websites and web applications.

Key Responsibilities:
* Server Configuration and Deployment:Configure and deploy web servers, including Apache, Nginx, or Microsoft IIS, according to project requirements.Install and configure server software, applications, and security settings.Implement load balancing and scalability solutions to handle varying levels of web traffic.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Proven experience as a web server administrator or a similar role.
* Proficiency in configuring and managing web servers, such as Apache, Nginx, or Microsoft IIS.
* Strong understanding of web technologies, protocols, and standards (HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP).
* Experience with server-side scripting languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Perl) and database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
* Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures for web servers.
* Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
