Remote World bridges South African talent with UK employers — and we're on the lookout for a proactive, switched-on Virtual Assistant to support a busy UK professional or team, fully remote.

This role is well suited to someone who is highly organised, takes initiative, and can juggle a varied workload without dropping a ball. You'll provide day-to-day support across a range of tasks — from inbox management and diary coordination to research and admin — freeing up your client to focus on the bigger picture.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and handle appointment coordination
* Monitor and respond to emails, flagging priorities and drafting responses
* Conduct research and compile summaries or reports as requested
* Prepare documents, presentations, and spreadsheets
* Handle travel arrangements and logistics where needed
* Support with ad hoc tasks and projects as the role evolves
What You'll Need
* Experience working as a VA, PA, or in a similar administrative support role
* Familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or project management platforms
* Excellent written communication skills in English
* A proactive attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
