The company produces high-volume short-form video content, generating strong engagement and consistent conversions. With a proven content formula and growing traction, the team is now focused on scaling reach and breaking into viral-level performance.
Why This Role Exists
The business has achieved strong results with consistent content output and solid conversion rates, but has yet to consistently produce viral videos at scale. This role is critical in bridging that gap—transforming content creation from a hit-or-miss process into a repeatable, data-driven system that drives both views and sales.
About the Role
This is a performance-driven copywriting role disguised as a scriptwriting position. The focus is not on creativity alone, but on understanding persuasion, consumer psychology, and content performance.
You will produce 30 short-form TikTok scripts per week, each backed by research, structured analysis, and performance insights. You’ll study high-performing content, reverse-engineer what works, and continuously refine your scripts based on real data.
AI tools (such as Claude) will be part of your workflow for research and organization—but strong writing fundamentals and critical thinking are essential.
Key Responsibilities
1. Script Writing (30 per week)Each submission must include:
* Script written for spoken delivery (5th-grade reading level)
* Reference video link
* Completed self-review checklist
* 3–5 sentence rationale (target audience, psychological trigger, emotional arc, expected performance)
2. Content Research & Analysis
* Source high-performing TikTok and Instagram content in relevant niches
* Identify patterns in hooks, pacing, emotional triggers, and calls-to-action
* Propose new angles, formats, and test ideas
3. Swipe File Development
* Build and maintain a structured swipe file using AI tools
* Categorize content by hook type and performance metrics
* Continuously update and highlight high-value insights
4. Performance Tracking & Optimization
* Analyze script performance 3–5 days after posting
* Track views, watch time, and conversion indicators
* Identify winning and underperforming patterns
* Recommend whether to replicate, refine, or discard concepts
What Success Looks Like
First 30 Days:
* Deliver 30 scripts weekly, consistently and on time
* Complete all required submission components
* Build an initial swipe file with 100+ categorized entries
* Submit first performance tracking report
First 90 Days:
* Improve average views across scripts
* Establish a high-value, team-accessible swipe file
* Clearly articulate why top-performing scripts succeed
* Contribute to multiple videos reaching 1M+ views
Qualifications
Must-Have:
* Strong written English (natural, conversational tone)
* Understanding of persuasion and consumer psychology
