Job Description

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and file corporation tax returns, VAT submissions and statutory tax filings
* Monitor tax legislation changes and advise management on their impact
* Liaise directly with HMRC and other tax authorities on queries and investigations
* Prepare detailed tax provisions, deferred tax calculations and supporting schedules
* Support the year-end audit process with comprehensive tax workings and documentation
* Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimise the group tax position
Requirements
* 4+ years of tax accounting experience in practice or industry
* ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualification is preferred or studying towards
* Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax and VAT legislation
* Excellent analytical skills and high accuracy in preparing complex tax calculations
* Able to communicate technical tax matters clearly to non-specialist stakeholders
