<p>We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer, with proven upstream contributions to the ClickHouse OSS project; to design, develop, and maintain our core analytics products including ClickHouse extensions/integrations; WarehousePG (WHPG), Postgres Analytics Accelerator (PGAA), as well as migration tools, monitoring systems, and performance optimizations for the PostgreSQL ecosystem.&nbsp;</p>
<p>In this role, you will be a core contributor within the team responsible for advancing our Analytics product portfolio, specifically around ClickHouse initiatives. You will implement new features, optimize performance, and ensure the stability of our software.&nbsp;</p>
<h4><strong>What you will be doing:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Design and develop PostgreSQL database features and tools, with focus on ClickHouse real time analytics.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Review and refine code contributions from team members to ensure quality.</li>
<li>Write and maintain regression tests for bug fixes and new features.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve database, network, and software-related issues.</li>
<li>Work within CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth integration and deployment.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>What you will bring:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of database internals development experience (preferably PostgreSQL) and solid understanding of database principles.</li>
<li>Upstream contributions or commits to the ClickHouse OSS project required.</li>
<li>Deep expertise in at least one of the following: C, C++, Rust, or Go systems programming.</li>
<li>Experience with distributed query optimizers (e.g. Orca).</li>
<li>CS fundamentals (algorithms, OS internals, data structures).</li>
<li>Proficiency in Linux-based software development and debugging.</li>
<li>Experience optimizing analytical database system performance.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills in database and system troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>What will give you an edge:</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>Experience with analytical libraries / databases (Spark, DataFusion, DuckDB) and/or MPP systems (e.g., Greenplum).</li>
<li>Solid understanding of PostgreSQL internals.</li>
<li>Familiarity with machine learning libraries and techniques.</li>
<li>Knowledge of GitHub Actions workflows.</li>
<li>Prior contributions to other open-source database projects.</li>
