Job Description

Social Media Video Editor & Graphic Designer

Location:Remote (Latin America, South Africa, or Philippines)Employment Type:Part-time to start (fixed hours per week), with a clear path to full-time as volume rampsHours:Flexible, with a meaningful daily overlap with U.S. Central Time (CST) to support fast turnaround on time-sensitive sports content

About the Company

We are a rapidly growing U.S.-based sports content brand built around a fresh, distinctive lens on the sports industry. We produce social-first content that moves at the speed of sports, aiming to be present and relevant within roughly 24 hours of key moments rather than chasing breaking news.

We are founder-led and in an early, high-growth stage, intentionally building creative infrastructure now, ahead of scale, so that content can ship consistently as our audience and partnership opportunities grow. This role supports a small portfolio of connected brands, including our flagship sports brand, a creative consulting practice, and ongoing paid social client work.

About the Role

Right now, the founder concepts and briefs content but is the bottleneck on execution. Interns have provided some support, but the constant retraining every semester makes it hard to move quickly or maintain consistency.

This role solves that. We are hiring one creative who can handle both short-form video editing and graphic design, take a brief plus existing brand guidelines, and turn it into polished, social-ready content quickly and consistently. You will be the reliable creative engine that lets the brand keep pace with sports.

Key Responsibilities

Short-Form Video Editing
* Edit UGC-style social videos as the primary, highest-volume deliverable
* Handle occasional longer-form or more produced video pieces
* Source and select the right clips and moments to build compelling sports content
* Deliver on a fast cadence, often turning content around within a day of a sports moment
Graphic Design
* Design social graphics within established brand guides and templates
* Adapt and extend existing templates while keeping each brand visually consistent
* Produce clean, on-brand assets across multiple brands
Brief-to-Delivery Execution
* Take briefs directly from the founder and produce to spec with minimal rework
* Incorporate feedback quickly and iterate
* Keep output consistent and dependable so the founder can hand off with confidence
Cross-Brand Creative Support
* Flex across our flagship sports brand, the creative consulting practice, and paid social client content
* Prioritize and balance work across brands as volume shifts

Required Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience inbothshort-form social video editing and graphic design (this is a combined role, not one or the other)
* A portfolio showing social-first work: edited UGC-style video and designed graphics
* Genuine working fluency in American sports β€” leagues, teams, key moments, and culture β€” with the ability to identify and use the right clips without heavy oversight
* Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere/After Effects, Photoshop/Illustrator, CapCut, Canva, or Figma (or equivalents)
* Ability to work confidently from brand guidelines and templates
* Comfort with fast turnaround and consistent CST overlap

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience creating content for sports, media, or entertainment brands
* Comfort using AI creative tools to speed up workflow
* Experience working across multiple brands or clients at once
* Motion graphics or higher-production video capability for occasional larger projects

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are:
* Creatively sharp but fast β€” you value shipping consistently over over-polishing
* A genuine sports fan who understands American sports without needing it explained
* Excellent at taking direction and then improving on it
* Self-managing across multiple brands and priorities
* Detail-oriented about brand consistency
* Energized by an early-stage, fast-moving environment where the work evolves

Why Join Us

This is a chance to get in early with a distinctive, growing sports brand and become its core creative partner. You will have real variety across three brands, direct access to the founder, and a role that is built to grow from part-time into a full-time position as the work scales.
