Job Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring aSenior Financial Accountantto take ownership of financial reporting and controls for a UK-based business. Fully remote from South Africa, you'll produce accurate financial statements, lead audit preparation, and ensure robust financial governance.

Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with UK GAAP or IFRS
* Lead the year-end close and coordinate with external auditors
* Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
* Support the CFO with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

What You'll Need
* ACCA, CIMA, or CA(SA) qualification
* 5+ years of financial accounting experience, ideally in a UK-facing role
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS reporting standards
* Advanced Excel and experience with accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, or Sage
* Reliable fibre internet and a professional home workspace
