Job Description
SDR / Appointment Setter (Payroll & PEO Industry)
Remote | Full-Time | US Hours PreferredLocation: Remote
About the Company
We are a fast-growing outbound appointment-setting and lead generation company focused exclusively on the payroll, PEO, ASO, and HR services industry.
Unlike traditional agencies, our approach is highly consultative and powered by proprietary AI benchmarking technology that helps businesses evaluate payroll and HR solutions currently available in the marketplace.
Our clients are established regional payroll providers, PEOs, and ASOs across the United States. We operate on a state-exclusive model, partnering with one provider per state and helping generate qualified sales conversations for their teams.
We are now looking for a highly motivated SDR / Appointment Setter to help scale outbound efforts and become an integral part of the company’s growth.
The Role
This is a high-volume outbound sales role focused on cold calling and appointment setting.
You will be calling businesses across the United States on behalf of our clients using a proven script, structured SOPs, and a consultative third-party positioning.
This is not a hard-closing sales role.
Instead of aggressively selling payroll software, you will guide prospects through conversations around benchmarking their current payroll and HR setup against what is available in today’s market. Your goal is to identify interest, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings for our partner providers.
The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, highly organized, resilient, coachable, and comfortable making 100+ outbound calls per day.

* Follow structured outbound scripts and appointment-setting workflows

* Follow established outreach cadences and SOPs
Client Representation

* Maintain strong communication standards and professionalism on every interaction
Performance & Metrics
* Consistently achieve outbound activity and appointment-setting KPIs
* Maintain strong conversion rates from conversations to booked meetings
* Participate in coaching, call reviews, and ongoing optimization efforts

* Experience selling into SMBs or mid-market companies
* Experience with payroll, HR, PEO, SaaS, or professional services industries
* Familiarity with CRMs and outbound sales tools
* South African candidates strongly preferred due to accent neutrality and outbound calling strength
Compensation
* Base Salary: USD/month depending on experience and region
