Role: Sales Development Representative-Outbound Freight Sales

Priority Location:Remote, South Africa

Working Hours:Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm ET

Salary Range:$1,500 – $2,000 USD per month base+ Uncapped Commission

To capture this demand, we are building a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to generate qualified sales opportunities.

In this role, you will focus primarily on outbound freight sales, helping grow our freight brokerage business by connecting with manufacturers and businesses with logistics needs. You will be provided with lead lists, proven sequences, modern sales tools, and full support—your primary responsibility is execution.

The Role

We are seeking a sharp, energetic Sales Development Representative (SDR) who thrives on cold calling and high-velocity outreach. In this role, you will plug directly into an established sales infrastructure—complete with pre-populated lead lists, proven sequences, and live tech stack—to engage prospects, qualify operational fit, and drive pipeline growth.

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Make a high volume of outbound calls to provide lead lists.
* Engage prospects across multiple channels, including phone, email, and text.
* Follow up consistently and creatively with unengaged prospects.
* Qualify prospects based on their freight requirements and operational fit.
* Book qualified meetings for the sales team.
* Maintain accurate prospect data and activity logs in the CRM.
* Rapidly adapt messaging based on feedback and share winning tactics with the team.
* Consistently meet or exceed activity and meeting-booking metrics.
What We Are Looking For
* Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
* Ability to comfortably engage with U.S. business owners, plant managers, and operations leaders.
* High empathy and deep understanding of manufacturing and operational challenges.
* Prior experience in SDR, BDR, inside sales, cold calling, or business development roles.
* Comfort with making a high volume of daily outbound sales calls.
* Self-starter mindset with the ability to execute without micromanagement.
* Strong resilience, coachability, and persistence after receiving initial rejections.
* Ability to work standard U.S. business hours.
* Bonus:Previous experience selling freight, ERP software, logistics solutions, or ERP-adjacent products.
