Role Summary
We are a high-growth technology services organization seeking a precision-orientedSales Contract Administratorto serve as the "central nervous system" of our Revenue Operations. This position was recently created by strategically splitting a broader operational role into two dedicated functions, allowing this individual to focus exclusively as the primary point of contact for legal agreements, subscriptions, and contract negotiations.
In this role, you are not a passive administrative assistant; you are a strategic, customer-facing coordinator. You will guide customers and internal sales teams through the negotiation process, facilitate modifications (including basic redlining) to Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and ensure that all contractual obligations are accurate, compliant, and optimized for ongoing subscription service delivery. You will work in lockstep with Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on subscription quoting and contract workflows, maximizing customer satisfaction and safeguarding company compliance.
Primary Responsibilities
I. Customer-Facing Contract Negotiation & Redlining
* Primary Point of Contact:Serve as the first line of communication and primary liaison for all contractual and legal agreement inquiries, managing expectations and ensuring a professional, premium onboarding experience.
* Negotiation & Redlining:Guide customers, prospects, and the internal sales team through the back-and-forth negotiation process. Confidently handle basic redlines and facilitate modifications to Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and other legal documents.
* Customer Alignment:Help the team navigate and set realistic expectations for the customer regarding contract terms, timelines, and ongoing service parameters.
II. Deal Desk & Subscription Support (SME)
* Subscription SME:Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ongoing subscription lines of business, assisting the Deal Desk with quoting, structural terms, and operational workflows for recurring contracts.
* Agreement Verification:Ensure partnership agreement requirements are perfectly aligned with agreed-upon terms prior to execution—including confirming that active MSAs are in place and that SOWs precisely identify and protect the agreed-upon services.
* Sales Integration:Partner closely with Sales and Sales Operations to ensure accurate, complete, and compliant contract packages are packaged and delivered to prospects in a timely manner.
III. Life-Cycle Coordination & Compliance
* End-to-End Governance:Oversee the complete contract lifecycle from initial draft through negotiation, approval, and execution, ensuring total compliance and timely delivery at each milestone.
* Internal Approvals:Coordinate across Sales, Finance, and Leadership to obtain required internal approvals, verifying that contracts meet internal policy standards and are executed within defined SLAs.
* Centralized Liaison:Act as the central hub for other essential business documentation and form requests, including payment terms, quote exceptions, insurance certifications, and tax documents (W-9 / 1099).
* Database Hygiene:Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready contract records and metadata withinSalesforceand other internal repositories in accordance with brand standards and delivery methods.
Additional Responsibilities
* Process Optimization:Support customer onboarding and contract workflow improvement initiatives in direct collaboration with Revenue Operations.
* Escalation Resolution:Address customer escalations, inquiries, and technical contract feedback professionally and courteously.
* Topical Mastery:Maintain current knowledge of company offerings, capabilities, and evolving legal/compliance requirements.
* Special Projects:Support cross-functional projects and ad-hoc operational initiatives as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience & Must-Haves
* Proven Track Record:3+ years of experience in contract administration, customer onboarding, or a high-velocity Sales Operations/Deal Desk role.
* Negotiation Savvy:Demonstrable experience with contract administration, legal compliance, and customer-facing negotiations (including performing basic redlines and managing back-and-forth contract drafts).
* Software Proficiency:High tech-literacy with previous experience navigatingSalesforce CRMhighly preferred.
