The company is seeking a highly driven Sales / Business Development Specialist (Closer) to own the conversion process from qualified prospect to signed client.

Role Overview

This is a true closer role focused on revenue generation, consultative sales, and pipeline ownership.

You will manage the full sales cycle from discovery through close, helping convert qualified B2B founders and executives into long-term podcast production clients.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle B2B Sales & Closing
* Conduct discovery calls and sales presentations with founders, executives, and B2B decision-makers
* Close new client engagements for podcast production and content marketing services
* Manage opportunities from initial qualification through signed agreement and payment confirmation
* Build urgency and communicate value effectively throughout the sales process
* Maintain accurate sales forecasting and deal progression
* Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets

Pipeline Development & Prospecting
* Independently source and develop qualified outbound opportunities
* Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound prospecting strategies to generate pipeline
* Follow up with inbound and outbound leads quickly and consistently
* Research target accounts and personalize outreach efforts
* Maintain a healthy pipeline of active opportunities at all times

CRM & Sales Operations
* Maintain clean and accurate records inside HubSpot CRM
* Track all prospect communication, next steps, and deal activity
* Submit weekly pipeline updates and revenue forecasts
* Monitor conversion metrics and identify areas for optimization
* Collaborate with leadership on sales process refinement and objection handling

Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Coordinate smooth handoffs to the Customer Success team after close
* Partner with marketing leadership on messaging alignment and campaign feedback
* Share pipeline insights, objections, and market feedback with leadership
* Support ongoing refinement of positioning and sales collateral

Required Skills & Experience

Hard Skills
* 3+ years of experience in B2B closing, consultative sales, SaaS sales, or professional services sales
* Strong experience managing full sales cycles independently
* Proven quota attainment and revenue generation history
* Experience using HubSpot CRM
* Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound prospecting
* Strong discovery, objection handling, and negotiation skills
* Excellent verbal and written English communication

Preferred Experience
* Experience selling media, podcasting, marketing, or content services
* Experience in startup or high-growth environments
* Familiarity with sales methodologies such as SPIN, Challenger, or MEDDIC
* Experience selling to founders, executives, or professional service firms
