Remote Recruitment is looking for a Payroll Administrator to work from home in South Africa for a UK employer. Payroll is the one thing that has to be right every single month, and this role is for someone who takes that seriously and enjoys the detail.

Full-time and 100% remote, working 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST).

Key responsibilities
* Process monthly and weekly payroll runs accurately and on schedule
* Maintain employee records, starters, leavers and changes to pay
* Calculate overtime, statutory payments, deductions and expenses
* Answer payroll queries from employees clearly and discreetly
* Reconcile payroll reports and support year-end processes
* Keep records in line with data protection requirements

What you will need
* Experience with payroll processing in a business or bureau environment
* Familiarity with payroll software such as Sage, Xero, BrightPay or similar
* Confident spreadsheet skills and strong numerical accuracy
* Discretion with confidential information
* A quiet home workspace, reliable computer and stable fibre internet
