Mission For This Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator to ensure our membersreceive prompt, attentive support. This role is essential to maintaining the white-glove service our patients expect from the company.The critical requirement is guaranteed availability and rapid response when messages come in. Every patient message must receive a response  within 5 minutes. You will have full authority to handle most patient requests independently, with  clear escalation protocols for urgent medical matters.

Important: This must be your only employment. We require someone who is fully rested, alert, and dedicated exclusively to this role during coverage hours. This is not suitable for someone juggling multiple jobs or gig work.

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor all patient communication channels during coverage hours
* Respond to every patient message within 5 minutes
* Assess urgency of patient inquiries and follow established escalation protocols
* Handle routine patient requests independently (scheduling, general questions,information requests)
* Escalate urgent medical concerns to the on-call physician as needed
* Perform care coordination tasks when appropriate (appointment scheduling, follow-ups)
* Document all patient interactions and handoff relevant information to the daytime team
* Maintain detailed logs of escalations and after-hours activity
Qualifications & Skills:

Required
* 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a high-touch environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven reliability and dependability
* Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations
* Strong judgment for assessing urgency and making escalation decisions
* Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for remote work
* Comfortable working weekends & holidays
Preferred
* Healthcare or medical office experience
* Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
* Experience in concierge or premium customer service environments
Performance Expectations:
* 5-minute response time to all patient messages - this is non-negotiable
* 100% availability during scheduled coverage hours
* Accurate triage and appropriate escalation of urgent matters
* Clear, professional, and compassionate communication with all patients
