Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and communicative Machining Quoter to support our quoting department and act as a vital link between our clients, internal teams, and vendor network. Working directly under the Quoting Manager, you will manage the quoting lifecycle from initial assignment to order fulfillment. This role requires a balance of technical understanding, swift project coordination, and exceptional relationship management to ensure our clients receive accurate pricing with industry-leading speed.

Key Responsibilities
* Vendor Procurement & Pricing: Receive inbound quote requests from the Quoting Manager and source accurate pricing for required services from our established vendor network.
* Project Assistance: Collaborate with the Quoting Manager to support execution, data gathering, and administrative tasks on larger or more complex projects.
* Account & Relationship Management: Maintain excellent, proactive communication with customers throughout the quoting flow to build long-term trust and instill confidence in our technical capabilities.
* Strict SLA Adherence: Manage time-sensitive workflows to meet a strict 24-hour maximum response SLA for client inquiries and a 2–4 day SLA for completed quotes.
* Order Transition & Input: Once a quote is accepted, execute the internal purchase flow. Input the order, place vendor purchase requests, or seamlessly hand off details to the internal purchasing team.
* End-to-End Point of Contact: Remain the primary liaison for both customers and vendors while orders are being fulfilled, addressing any questions, tracking milestones, and providing clear status updates.
* Multi-Channel Communication: Actively utilize Email, Phone, MS Teams, and Monday.com to document quote progress and keep all parties aligned.

What Success Looks Like

Ownership & Execution: Success in this role means taking a fresh, unassigned quote and confidently driving it across the finish line. You will independently gather vendor pricing, expand the vendor network when necessary, collaborate internally to finalize numbers, and deliver a polished quote to the client. By managing post-quote follow-ups and tracking the order through to final fulfillment, you will provide a seamless experience that keeps clients coming back.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Exceptional Communication: Very strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to confidently interface with both industrial vendors and corporate clients.
* Language Fluency: Professional-grade English fluency (written and verbal) is required to successfully discuss detailed, technical questions related to machining and manufacturing processes.
* Technical Aptitude: A strong understanding of or proficiency within the Machining, CNC, or manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
* Process & Detail Oriented: Proven ability to manage strict deadlines (SLAs) and accurately input data across multiple project management tools.
* Software Proficiency: Familiarity with modern communication and workspace tools like Monday.com and MS Teams is a strong asset.
