Technical Project Manager (Remote – Startup Environment)

As we scale, we are looking for aTechnical Project Managerto act as the operational bridge between clients and our engineering teams — ensuring clarity, accountability, and execution across all projects.

The Role

This is ahands-on Technical Project Manager rolefocused on owning the delivery lifecycle across multiple software development projects.

You will be responsible for translating client requirements into clear execution plans, managing daily communication with developers, and maintaining strong client relationships through structured updates and accountability.

This role is critical to the company’s growth — you will effectively act as theright hand to the founder in running project delivery, enabling leadership to focus on scaling the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Scoping & Planning
* Analyze client scopes of work and technical requirements
* Translate requirements into clear deliverables, timelines, and resource needs
* Answer core client questions:What will this cost?How long will it take?
* What will this cost?
* How long will it take?

2. Team Coordination (Daily Execution)
* Manage day-to-day communication with engineering teams (frontend, backend, full-stack)
* Run daily check-ins to track progress, unblock issues, and ensure accountability
* Ensure tasks are clearly defined and executed on time

3. Client Communication
* Lead weekly client update calls per project
* Clearly communicate:Progress from the previous weekUpcoming deliverablesRequired client inputs (design, feedback, approvals)
* Progress from the previous week

* Required client inputs (design, feedback, approvals)
* Act as the primary point of contact between client and technical team

4. Delivery Oversight
* Monitor timelines and proactively address delays or risks
* Ensure quality and alignment with client expectations
* Maintain visibility across multiple concurrent projects

5. Process & Structure
* Bring structure to a fast-moving, startup environment
* Improve communication flows between distributed teams
* Implement lightweight systems to improve efficiency without slowing execution

What We’re Looking For

Core Requirements
* Proven experience as aTechnical Project Managerin software development
* Strong understanding of:Full-stack development workflowsSoftware delivery lifecycle

* Ability to read and interpret technical scopes (without necessarily coding)
* Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
* Experience managing remote/distributed engineering teams

* Comfortable in astartup environment (no rigid 9–5 structure)

* Background in agencies or service-based software companies
* Familiarity with tools like Jira, ClickUp, Trello, or similar
