Remote Recruitment is hiring an IT Helpdesk Agent for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.

Role overview

You'll be the first point of contact for a UK team's IT issues, troubleshooting problems and keeping people working.

Key responsibilities
* Provide first-line support for hardware, software and account issues
* Log, track and resolve tickets in the helpdesk system
* Reset passwords and manage user access via Active Directory
* Escalate complex issues to second-line support
* Document fixes and update the internal knowledge base
What you'll need
* Experience with Active Directory and user account management
* Experience in a first-line IT support or helpdesk role
* Comfort troubleshooting common hardware and software issues
* Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work
* Clear communication when explaining fixes to non-technical users
