Job Description
Growth Operations CoordinatorRemote | Full-Time
About Us
We are a fast-growing proptech startup built for serious real estate investors. Our platform lets investors analyze any U.S. residential property in seconds — running side-by-side comparisons between short-term rental and long-term rental strategies, backed by real comps, pro-forma financials, and 30-year return projections.
We're trusted by individual investors, investment-focused agents, portfolio managers, and brokerages nationwide. The product is built, the market fit is real, and the next stage is scaling awareness, relationships, and adoption.
About the Role
Until now, the founder has been personally driving growth — managing outreach, building industry relationships, posting content, and following up with prospects. That's no longer sustainable.
This role exists to take that function off the founder's plate and own it.
You'll be the operational engine behind our growth efforts: building relationships with lenders and real estate professionals, managing outreach and engagement across channels, coordinating partnerships and webinars, and keeping the CRM clean and current. This is not a passive administrative role — you'll be expected to identify opportunities, take initiative, and move fast.
Key Responsibilities
Outreach & Relationship Building
* Conduct targeted outreach to real estate investors, agents, lenders, and industry professionals via LinkedIn, email, and other platforms
* Nurture relationships with strategic partners, referral sources, and community members over time
* Identify and engage relevant influencers, communities, and organizations in the real estate investing space
* Represent the company professionally in all external communications
Content & Social Media
* Post and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
* Engage with followers, respond to comments, and grow platform presence
* Repurpose existing content and flag opportunities based on community conversations
Partnership & Webinar Coordination
* Source and coordinate webinar opportunities with industry partners
* Manage logistics for virtual events — scheduling, promotion, follow-up
* Track partnership pipeline and report on progress
CRM & Growth Tracking
* Maintain and update CRM with lead activity, outreach history, and pipeline status
* Follow up with users, trial accounts, and prospects on a consistent cadence
* Build and maintain contact lists for outreach campaigns
* Report on key growth metrics and flag what's working and what isn't
Required Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in a growth, marketing operations, community, or business development role
* Strong written English — professional, clear, and engaging
* Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Airtable, or similar)
* Proven track record managing outreach campaigns or relationship-building initiatives
* Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving startup environment
* Reliable internet connection and availability to overlap with U.S. business hours
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with the real estate investing space (STR, LTR, deal analysis, proptech)
* Experience with social media scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, or similar)
* Experience coordinating webinars or virtual events
* Background supporting a founder or early-stage startup
Ideal Candidate Profile
You take ownership without being asked. You see a gap and fill it. You communicate proactively when something is off and bring solutions, not just problems.
You're organized enough to manage multiple outreach threads, detailed enough to keep a CRM accurate, and personable enough to build real relationships — not just send cold messages into the void.
You've worked in a startup or lean team before and know what it means to wear more than one hat. You don't need a process manual to get started — you help build the process.
Why Join Us
* Work directly with the founder at a pivotal stage of growth
* Real ownership over a function that directly impacts company trajectory
* Fully remote, flexible work environment
* Be part of building something from the ground up in a market with clear momentum
* Competitive compensation based on experience
Tips for South African Applicants
Timezone Advantage
South Africa (SAST, UTC+2) overlaps well with European business hours and has a few hours of overlap with US East Coast. Mention your timezone flexibility in your application.
Salary in Context
At R27,750/month, this role is on par with the average South African remote salary. The USD equivalent ($1,500/mo) benefits from the favourable exchange rate.
Application Tips
Tailor your CV to international standards — use a clean format, highlight remote work experience, and include your English proficiency. Many SA applicants succeed by emphasising their strong work ethic and cultural adaptability.
Load Shedding Preparedness
If you're applying for a remote role, having a backup power solution (UPS, inverter, or generator) and mobile data as a backup internet connection shows employers you're prepared for South Africa's infrastructure challenges.
