About the Client:
Our client is a leading cryptocurrency tax software company that helps individuals and businesses simplify crypto tax reporting and reconciliation. Through innovative technology and automation, they make it easier for users to organize complex crypto transactions, prepare accurate tax records, and save significant time during tax season.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Growth Marketer, Paid Social (Meta) to take complete ownership of the company's Meta advertising function.
This is not a traditional media buyer role where creative strategy and production are handled by another team. This individual will own paid social end to end, including account strategy, creative concepts, copy and scripting, creative production, testing, budget allocation, optimization, measurement, and overall performance.
The primary objective is toscale annual Meta advertising spend from approximately $500K to $1M while maintaining target ROAS.
The ideal candidate combines deep Meta Ads expertise with strong direct-response creative instincts. They should be equally comfortable analyzing account performance, developing new creative concepts, briefing designers and editors, reallocating budget, and using AI to automate repetitive aspects of paid media management.
Send us yourresume along with a portfolio of ad creative you've personally made—the concepts, the copy, the scripts, the finished ads— and, wherever you can, the performance data behind them. We want to see what you've shipped and what it did. Show us you're the person who reads"creative-first Meta account, AI-native, $500K to $1M" and thinks that's exactly what we 've been waiting for.
Why this role exists now
We've been running paid social the old way: an agency that builds campaigns and manages the spend, with creative treated as someone else's problem. We're bringing the function in-house and rebuilding it creative-first. We need one person who can do all of it. What you bring is the direct-response instinct and the Meta chops to make a sixfigure-a-month account work. What we bring is a product hundreds of thousands of people already pay for, a warm-lead engine that runs every tax season, and a team of technologists who will build whatever tooling you need.
Role Responsibilities:
Meta Ads Strategy & Account Ownership
* Take complete ownership of the Meta advertising account and paid social strategy.
* Transition account management from an external agency to an internal, creative-first operating model.
* Conduct a comprehensive audit of existing campaigns, account structure, audiences, creative, tracking, and performance.
* Restructure campaigns to support rapid creative testing and profitable scaling.
* Own campaign creation, optimization, budget allocation, pacing, and performance.
* Make data-driven decisions regarding where incremental advertising dollars should be deployed.
* Maintain disciplined performance management against defined ROAS and customer acquisition targets.
* Scale annual Meta spend from approximately $500K toward $1M without sacrificing profitability.
Creative Strategy & Production
* Own the direct-response creative strategy for paid social.
* Develop creative concepts, hooks, angles, formats, offers, and audience-specific messaging.
* Write ad copy and scripts for static and video advertisements.
* Translate performance insights into new creative hypotheses and tests.
* Brief internal designers, video editors, freelancers, and other creative resources.
* Build and maintain a structured pipeline of creative concepts.
* Establish efficient creative briefing, production, review, approval, and launch processes.
* Ship and test new creative every week.
* Build a substantial creative library ahead of peak acquisition periods.
* Ensure creative strategy remains directly connected to measurable advertising performance.
Testing & Optimization
* Continuously analyze campaign and creative performance.
* Form hypotheses based on account data and customer behavior.
* Design structured tests across creative concepts, formats, audiences, messaging, and campaign structures.
* Launch experiments, analyze results, and translate findings into subsequent creative iterations.
* Identify winning creative and determine when and how to scale it.
* Recognize creative fatigue and proactively introduce new concepts.
* Maintain a continuous test, learn, iterate, and scale operating rhythm.
* Prioritize testing based on expected business impact rather than activity volume.
Budget & Performance Management
* Own a meaningful paid social budget with direct
