Role: Financial Analyst

Priority Location: Remote, South Africa &Latin America (LATAM)

Working Hours:Monday to Friday 9am-5pm ET

Salary Range:$2,500- $4,000 / month

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an exceptional Strategic Financial Analyst who thrives in Excel, enjoys solving complex business problems, and wants to work directly alongside experienced finance leaders.About the RoleThis is not a traditional FP&A role. You will serve as the analytical engine behind our client engagements, supporting everything from financial modeling and board presentations to transaction readiness and strategic planning. You will work across a diverse client portfolio, helping transform raw financial data into meaningful business insights.

One day you may be organizing accounting data into clean financial models for an acquisition entrepreneur; the next, you will be building board-ready reporting materials for a $50M business preparing for its next stage of growth.

We are looking for someone who enjoys both the precision of detailed financial data and the higher-level challenge of solving strategic business problems.What You'll Do
* Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain sophisticated Excel-based financial models and ad hoc analyses across multiple clients.
* Financial Reporting: Transform bookkeeping and accounting data into clean, actionable financial reports and executive packages.
* FP&A & Advisory Support: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic finance initiatives for founders and leadership teams.
* Board & Investor Materials: Create board presentations, investor pitch decks, and management reporting packages.
* Transaction Support: Assist with transaction readiness projects, financial due diligence, and capital-raising engagements.
* Performance & Trend Analysis: Analyze business performance to identify key trends, risks, and strategic growth opportunities.
* Quality Assurance: Review financial information for high accuracy, identifying inconsistencies before they impact downstream analyses.
* Executive Collaboration: Collaborate directly with senior leadership on core client deliverables and strategic projects.

What We're Looking For

Ideal Background
* 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Advisory, or Financial Consulting.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (this role is highly Excel-intensive).
* Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
* Executive Presentation Skills: Experience preparing executive-level reporting and slide decks.
* Core Accounting Knowledge: Excellent understanding of financial statements and fundamental accounting principles.
* Problem-Solving & Judgment: Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate complex client scenarios.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous commitment to accuracy, accuracy, and error-free work.
* Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication.

Bonus Experience
* Exposure to founder-led or lower middle-market businesses.
* Background in M&A, transaction advisory, financial due diligence, or capital raising.
* Direct experience supporting CFOs or executive leadership.
* Light bookkeeping or accounting operational experience.
* Strong PowerPoint design and story-boarding skills.
