Fiber Broadband Operations Advisor (Future COO)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Fiber Broadband Operations Advisor to support a strategic business initiative involving the potential transition of operational functions from the United States to South Africa for a growing fiber broadband provider serving approximately 50,000 subscribers.

This role will initially serve in an advisory capacity, helping evaluate the feasibility, operational structure, cost models, and implementation strategy for establishing a South Africa-based operations team. If the project proceeds successfully, the advisor may have the opportunity to transition into a leadership role responsible for building and managing the operational team.

The ideal candidate is a current or former COO, CEO, General Manager, or Senior Operations Executive with significant experience in a profitable cable or fiber broadband organization.

Key Responsibilities
* Assess and evaluate the operational structure of a fiber broadband business.
* Develop recommendations for transitioning operational functions from the United States to South Africa.
* Build cost models and staffing plans for offshore operations.

Required Qualifications
* Former or current COO, CEO, President, General Manager, or Senior Operations Executive within the telecommunications industry.
* Direct experience operating a cable broadband or fiber broadband company.
* Experience managing organizations with at least 25,000 subscribers (50,000+ preferred).
* Proven track record of managing profitable broadband operations.
