About the Role:This is not a typical Executive Assistant role — you’ll serve as the trusted right hand to a co-founder at a fast-scaling, venture-backed company, protecting their time, driving priorities, and ensuring nothing critical falls through the cracks. The role requires exceptional organization, sound judgment, discretion, and the confidence to operate independently, leverage AI tools, and push back when necessary to keep the executive focused on what matters most.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own and manage the executive’s calendar, scheduling, and time prioritization
* Act as gatekeeper by protecting focus time and filtering low-value meetings
* Manage inbox communications, draft emails, and track follow-ups proactively
* Ensure the executive is prepared, briefed, and aligned on priorities daily
* Use AI tools to research, solve problems, and execute tasks independently
* Drive projects and action items to completion with minimal oversight
* Coordinate cross-functionally to unblock decisions and move initiatives forward
* Proactively prioritize high-impact work and confidently push back when needed
* Maintain visibility into deadlines, commitments, and executive priorities
* Handle confidential business, financial, and personnel information with discretion and professionalism
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years’ of experience
* Proven experience supporting C-suite executives or founders in high-trust roles
* Exceptional written communication with a professional and polished tone
* Highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing competing priorities
* Proactive self-starter who takes ownership and drives execution independently
* Confident providing pushback and managing upward when needed
* Strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion with sensitive information
* Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity and problem-solving
* Proficient with Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, and modern productivity tools
* Reliable and accountable in a fully remote, async-first work environment
