About the Company

We are an established and growing commercial real estate brokerage operating across the Greater Toronto Area, specializing in the industrial market. For nearly a decade, we've represented landlords, investors, and tenants across industrial leasing, industrial condominium sales, and investment sales — building our reputation on responsiveness, deep local knowledge, and a personal approach to every transaction.

We're now in a deliberate growth phase: expanding our footprint across the GTA and building out the content and market intelligence that will make us the recognized authority on small-bay industrial real estate.

About the Role

This role exists to build that authority. Small-bay industrial is one of the most active and closely watched segments in the GTA, and we want to own the conversation around it.

You will be the engine behind our market intelligence and content — tracking what's happening in the small-bay industrial market and turning that information into sharp, credible content that reaches owners, investors, landlords, and tenants. Your work will do double duty: it will fuel our marketing and lead generation, and it will build a proprietary database of market activity that strengthens the way we advise clients and win business.

You don't need to be a real estate expert — we'll teach you the industry. What matters is that you're a genuinely strong writer, a disciplined researcher, and someone who can work independently and build systems that last. This is a rare combination, and it's exactly what the role demands.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Intelligence
* Track industrial property sales, leases, and new listings across the GTA, with a focus on small-bay units and industrial condominiums.
* Research market trends using company-provided data, MLS and CoStar exports, brokerage reports, and public sources.
* Build and maintain an internal database of comparable sales and leasing activity.
* Monitor activity within key industrial condominium complexes and identify emerging trends and opportunities.
Content Creation
* Produce a monthly Small-Bay Industrial Market Update.
* Write weekly LinkedIn posts and longer-form industry articles.
* Draft email newsletters tailored to owners, investors, landlords, and tenants.
* Create building spotlights and neighbourhood market updates.
* Develop case studies and success stories from completed transactions.
* Repurpose core content into multiple formats across channels.
* Help shape and maintain a consistent, credible brand voice.
Marketing Operations
* Own and maintain the content calendar.
* Coordinate email campaigns and assist with website and blog publishing.
* Organize and maintain marketing assets.
* Track content and campaign performance against simple, agreed KPIs, and use those insights to improve.

Required Qualifications
* Exceptional written English, with a portfolio or samples of professional writing.
* Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to turn raw data into a clear narrative.
* Highly organized, with exceptional attention to detail.
* Genuinely self-directed — comfortable owning outcomes with minimal day-to-day supervision.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* A valid passport and government-issued photo ID, required to be granted access to industry data platforms such as MLS.

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience creating B2B content in commercial real estate, finance, or professional services.
* Familiarity with LinkedIn as a B2B content channel and basic SEO principles.
* Experience with Canva.
* Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms.
* A track record of building content calendars, databases, or other durable systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are:
* A strong writer first — you can take a spreadsheet of comps and turn it into something a broker or investor would actually respect and read.
* Naturally curious, and quick to get up to speed in an unfamiliar industry.
* Rigorous with detail and disciplined about accuracy.
* A systems-builder who likes creating order, not just completing tasks.
* Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.

Why Join Us

You'll join a focused, growing brokerage at a point where your work directly shapes how the business is seen in the market. This is a build role, not a maintenance one — you'll create the systems and the voice from the ground up, learn a high-demand niche from people who know it well, and have a real path to a full-time position as we grow.
