About Us:

Our brands focus on delivering high-impact, "real-world" insights across two distinct verticals.

Our family travel brand provides systems and teamwork strategies for parents navigating global adventures with their children.

My personal brand serves as a strategic resource for ambitious legal entrepreneurs, offering leadership lessons and growth stories from my experience as a lawyer and founder.

Together, our mission is to empower both families and professionals to build bigger lives and stronger companies through authentic storytelling and practical, real-time lessons.

Why This Role is Fun:

You’ll be the creative brain behind two exciting brands. You aren't just "posting to post", you are building a content engine that turns real-life family adventures and business lessons into a viral community.

We are in the early stages, which means you will directly help shape how these brands grow from the ground up. Working directly with the founders, you’ll guide us on what we film and how we tell our stories across social media platforms.

We need a high-energy pro who is ready to hit the ground running from day one, taking the lead on directing, editing and turning raw ideas into polished, high-performing content.

Key Responsibilities:
* Define a clear social media strategy for each brand (positioning, content pillars, platform approach, cadence, and growth plan).
* Turn strategy into a weekly execution plan and content calendar.
* Guide us on what to film each week so we capture content that performs (hooks, structure, formats, and series ideas).
* Write captions, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and posting plans optimized for each platform.
* Track performance and share a simple weekly report with insights and next steps.
* Work with us to hire a freelance video editor and then direct the editor so edits match what will perform best.
Platforms (initial focus):
* Our family travel brand (priority for first 60 days):InstagramYouTube ShortsYouTube (long-form)
* Instagram
* YouTube Shorts
* YouTube (long-form)
* Personal brand:InstagramYouTubeLinkedIn.
* Instagram
* YouTube
* LinkedIn.
We plan to publish consistently. The point is not posting to post. The point is posting with a clear plan to grow.

Both brands will also have websites and blogs. This role includes helping us think through how social drives to those platforms and how we repurpose ideas across channels (social, YouTube long-form, and blog).

Qualifications & Skills:
* 3+ years in social media management, content creation and strategy development
* Experience in long-form & short-form editing, as well as static posts
* Strong strategic thinking and ability to develop a cohesive brand identity and presence across platforms
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with the owner and his family
* Ability to work independently, be proactive, and execute quickly without needing to be micromanaged - high agency
* Experience working with remote/distributed teams and clients
* Technical skills in using social media management tools like Loomly, Buffer, etc.
* Familiarity with managing podcasts and integrating them into a social media strategy - nice-to-have

Tips for South African Applicants

Timezone Advantage

South Africa (SAST, UTC+2) overlaps well with European business hours and has a few hours of overlap with US East Coast. Mention your timezone flexibility in your application.

📋

Application Tips

Tailor your CV to international standards — use a clean format, highlight remote work experience, and include your English proficiency. Many SA applicants succeed by emphasising their strong work ethic and cultural adaptability.

🔌

Load Shedding Preparedness

If you're applying for a remote role, having a backup power solution (UPS, inverter, or generator) and mobile data as a backup internet connection shows employers you're prepared for South Africa's infrastructure challenges.
