Appointment Setter / Lead Generation Specialist
Location:Remote (LATAM, South Africa, or Philippines Preferred)Schedule:Full-Time | Flexible U.S. Overlap PreferredCompensation:(Compensation depends on experience, English proficiency, sales ability, and region)
About the Company
We are a fast-growing travel and charter services business focused on building strong relationships with charter captains and charter business owners across multiple markets.
Our founder travels market-to-market, meeting directly with captains and operators to build local relationships and close business opportunities in person. To support this growth, we are looking for a highly organized, proactive Appointment Setter / Lead Generation Specialist to own the front-end outreach process and help keep the sales pipeline consistently full.
This is the company’s first hire and will be a foundational role in building scalable sales operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying qualified leads, conducting outreach, nurturing follow-up communication, and booking high-quality meetings with target prospects.
This role is not just about volume—it is about thoughtful, high-quality outreach where every message and every conversation matters.
The Role
We are seeking a highly reliable Appointment Setter / Lead Generation Specialist to serve as the front-end sales engine of the business.
You will be responsible for:
* Prospect research and lead generation
* CRM management and outreach execution
* Appointment setting with qualified charter captains and business owners
* Follow-up messaging and nurture sequences
* Supporting sales pipeline consistency and lead organization
This person will not be responsible for closing sales—the founder handles all in-person meetings and deal closing—but your work directly drives revenue by ensuring the right conversations happen consistently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in structured outbound sales environments and can balance persistence with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
* Research and identify qualified charter captints, charter businesses, and target operators
* Build and maintain lead lists based on geographic market expansion plans
* Source accurate contact information and organize prospect data inside the CRM
* Continuously improve lead quality and targeting
Appointment Setting
* Conduct outbound outreach via calls, email, text, social messaging, and CRM workflows
* Engage prospects professionally and confidently
* Qualify opportunities before scheduling meetings
* Book high-quality appointments with decision-makers for the founder
* Maintain strong follow-up systems to maximize response rates
CRM & Pipeline Management
* Manage all outreach activity inside the CRM
* Track conversations, notes, status updates, and next steps
* Ensure follow-up consistency across all leads
* Maintain clean pipeline organization and reporting visibility
Administrative Sales Support
* Assist with post-outreach follow-up and lead nurturing
* Support workflow optimization as the company scales
* Help improve systems and outreach processes over time
* Potentially expand into additional sales support functions as the role grows
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who is:
* Strong in written English and professional communication
* Comfortable with outbound sales and appointment setting
* Highly organized and process-driven
* Persistent without being overly aggressive
* Detail-oriented with strong CRM discipline
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
* Comfortable learning and improving sales systems
* Results-focused and accountable for performance
Because the lead volume is intentionally small and highly targeted, quality matters more than quantity.
Each conversation should feel intentional and strategic.
Required Experience
* 2+ years of experience in appointment setting, lead generation, SDR, BDR, or outbound sales support
* Experience using CRM systems for outreach and pipeline management
* Strong understanding of outbound prospecting best practices
* Experience with follow-up sequences and lead nurturing
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Preferred Experience
* Experience in travel, hospitality, charter services, marine, or local service industries
* Experience supporting founder-led sales environments
* Experience with international remote teams
* Familiarity with working across multiple U.S. time zones
* Strong sales instincts and understanding of buyer psychology
