Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, highly communicativeAppointment Setter / GovTech Outreach Specialistto support outbound outreach and event-driven lead generation initiatives.

This isnota traditional cold-calling role that involves aggressive sales pitching. Instead, you are offering exclusive invitations to free, online, educational events designed to solve municipal permitting problems. Because we provide genuine educational value,we typically experience an ~80% positive response ratewithin the first few minutes of conversation. Your primary goal is to generate light interest, confirm event attendance, and book follow-up discovery conversations when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Calling & Appointment Setting
* Conduct outbound calls to local government officials and municipal leads across the United States.

* Follow provided outreach scripts and talking points naturally, introducing upcoming AI workshops and clearly highlighting the permitting value proposition.

* Handle basic questions smoothly and confidently without over-selling.

Lead Engagement & Government Relations
* Identify municipal prospects who show an active interest in local government AI adoption or permit automation strategy.

* Maintain exceptionally polite, friendly, and professional conversational interactions with government staff, creating an outstanding first impression of the company.

CRM, Dialer & Administrative Support
* Systematically use cloud dialer tools to call leads effectively and track daily outreach metrics.

* Update CRM records with meticulous accuracy, managing scheduling and calendar coordination for booked events.

Required Skills & Qualifications
* Experience:Proven track record in appointment setting, cold/warm calling, lead generation, customer support, virtual assistant work, or SDR/BDR workflows.

* Communication:Flawless verbal and written English communication skills with a confident, personable, and professional phone presence. Must be highly comfortable speaking with US-based government officials.
