The Role
We're hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a well-established UK business. In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations. It's a detail-oriented position that's central to the smooth running of the finance function. If you're methodical, reliable, and experienced in AP processes, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Processing supplier invoices accurately and on time
* Matching purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes
* Preparing and running payment runs in line with supplier terms
* Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
* Responding to supplier queries promptly and professionally
* Assisting with month-end close and finance reporting
What You'll Need
* Experience in an accounts payable or finance administration role
* Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks)
* High attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
* Good communication skills for managing supplier relationships
* A reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup
