Role Overview: The Strategic Partnership Hunter

We are a premier insurance technology firm specializing in a niche luxury retail market. We are seeking a high-caliber Account Executive to drive growth within our retail partnership channel. This is a "Zero-to-One" growth role designed for a "hunter" who possesses exceptional relationship-building skills and the technical acumen to eventually master software demonstrations.

This is a unique B2B sales motion. You aren't selling a tangible product with a high price tag; you are selling a free, high-value referral partnership. We provide retailers with a world-class, free appraisal software that simplifies their daily operations. In exchange, when they issue an appraisal, we gain the opportunity to offer specialized insurance solutions to their customers. When those customers sign up, the retailer earns a referral fee.

Your mission is to get retailers to care about this value-add, cut through the noise of their busy workdays, and secure the partnership.

Key Responsibilities

I. Outbound Prospecting & "Ice Breaking"
* Strategic Outreach: Manage an intentional, high-quality outbound volume (approx. 30 touchpoints per day) via phone, email, and auto-sequencing tools.
* Gatekeeper Mastery: Demonstrate the ability to "cut through the ice" with gatekeepers to get the right decision-maker on the phone.
* Appointment Setting: Introduce the "Free Appraisal Software" hook and the referral fee revenue stream to secure qualified product demos for the leadership team.
* Persistence: Maintain a high level of perseverance, understanding that retailers are niche, busy, and often hard to catch during standard retail hours.

II. Pipeline & CRM Management
* Database Hygiene: Keep the CRM (Ontraport) meticulously organized, ensuring all lead statuses, follow-up tasks, and notes are up to date.
* Nurture Loops: Manage rigorous email follow-up cadences to stay top-of-mind with retailers who have expressed initial interest.
* Process Optimization: Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach messaging based on real-world feedback from the industry channel.

III. The Growth Path: From SDR to AM
* Product Mastery: During the first 6–9 months, you will focus on prospecting and appointment setting. As you master the industry nuances, you will receive full training to conduct independent product demos.
* Account Management: Transition into a full-cycle Account Executive/Account Manager role (9–12 months), owning the revenue-generating relationships and managing the ongoing success of your retail partners.
