Position Overview

We are looking for a trend-obsessed, highly skilledShort-Form Video Editorto own content editing across3 to 4 core creator accounts.

You live and breathe TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You know what hooks an audience in the first 2 seconds, understand current audio trends, and can execute a blend of polished B-roll edits, dynamic captions, trending audio overlays, and heavily edited, high-retention video pieces.

Key Responsibilities

1. Short-Form Video Production & Editing
* Multi-Account Production:Edit high-volume short-form video content across 3–4 creator accounts simultaneously.
* Content Mix Execution:Edit raw footage, B-roll libraries, voiceovers, and talking-head videos into high-converting TikToks, Instagram Reels, and Shorts.
* Pacing & Engagement:Master visual hooks, text animations, pattern interrupts, sound design, and subtitle typography designed for maximum viewer retention.
* Batch Scheduling Workflow:Maintain a strict 2-week advance content calendar, ensuring all scheduled creator posts are rendered, reviewed, and finalized ahead of deadline.

2. Trend Monitoring & Rapid Execution
* Trend Spotting:Actively monitor TikTok and Instagram algorithm trends, viral audio, and format shifts.
* Agile Trend Hours:Reserve dedicated weekly bandwidth to execute rapid, same-day trend turnarounds when viral opportunities arise for creators.
* Asset Management:Organize raw creator footage, audio assets, graphics, and finished exports inside cloud storage libraries.

Candidate Qualifications
* Experience:3+ years of professional video editing experience, specializing in short-form, high-retention social video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) for creators, influencers, or DTC brands.
