We're looking for an exceptional Senior Brand Designer to help create distinctive brands for innovative startups and growth-stage companies.
This is a hands-on design role for someone who cares deeply about craft, systems thinking, and creating work that stands apart. The quality of your portfolio matters more than your years of experience.
About the Role
As a Senior Brand Designer, you'll be responsible for creating thoughtful, sophisticated visual identities and digital experiences for our clients.
You'll work closely with strategists, writers, and creative leadership to translate business and brand strategy into world-class creative execution.
We're looking for a designer with exceptional taste and a portfolio that demonstrates the ability to create original, strategic brand systems—not simply execute production work.
Responsibilities
Brand Identity Design
* Create visual identities, brand systems, and design frameworks for startups and growth-stage companies
* Develop typography systems, color palettes, visual languages, and brand guidelines
* Translate strategic insights into compelling visual solutions
* Produce work that balances strategic thinking with exceptional execution
Digital Design
* Design websites, landing pages, and digital brand experiences
* Apply brand systems consistently across digital touchpoints
* Collaborate with developers and external partners to bring concepts to life
Creative Execution
* Own design projects from concept through delivery
* Present creative work internally and contribute to client presentations when appropriate
* Collaborate closely with writers, strategists, and creative leadership
* Contribute to maintaining a high creative standard across all projects
AI-Enabled Design
* Utilize AI tools as part of the creative process
* Experiment with AI image generation and emerging design technologies
* Help identify new workflows that improve efficiency while maintaining creative excellence
Qualifications
Required
* Exceptional portfolio showcasing brand identity and visual system design
* Strong typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling skills
* Experience designing comprehensive brand systems
* Strong understanding of modern design tools and workflows
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
* Agency experience
* Experience working with technology companies, startups, or venture-backed businesses
* Website and digital design experience
* Experience using AI within creative workflows
* Portuguese language skills are a plus
