As the first hire into this boutique recruitment startup, you'll work directly with the founder to support delivery across a booming portfolio of clients—17 open roles and growing fast. You’ll be instrumental in sourcing exceptional talent across the US industrial automation and manufacturing sectors, helping scale a lean, high-performing recruitment team. You’ll have flexibility, responsibility, and a founder who prioritises both results and culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Source, screen, and shortlist top-tier candidates in industrial automation, engineering, and manufacturing sectors across the US.
* Headhunt passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools.
* Liaise with East Coast-based candidates, requiring flexible working hours to accommodate a 5–6 hour time difference.
* Support the founder by managing candidate pipelines, updating CRM systems, and coordinating interviews.
* Evaluate CVs and assess candidate suitability with a critical, quality-first mindset.
* Manage communication with professionalism and maturity suited to senior-level US candidates (typical salaries of $135–$150k).
* Maintain high standards of candidate experience from first contact through to placement.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 2–3 years of recruitment experiencein technical or engineering fields (not IT but engineering tech roles)
* Must have experience recruiting for US-based roles, including a strong grasp of US time zones and candidate expectations.
* Must have resourced in the automation and manufacturing engineering sectors.
* Comfortable working US working hours (East Coast)
* Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and CRM/ATS tools.
* Ability to professionally engage with mid-to-senior-level US candidates.
* Comfortable handling high volumes of inbound applications and identifying top-tier talent.
* Resourceful, curious, and committed
* Stable internet connection and personal laptop required.
