Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, assisting with month-end close, and ensuring accuracy across accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks
* Manage accounts payable (AP), including expenses, bill entry, and vendor payments
* Handle accounts receivable (AR) functions
* Support month-end and year-end closing processes
* Ensure accurate recording of transactions
* Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
* Maintain vendor records and ensure timely payments
* Prepare financial reports and assist with variance analysis
* Assist with payroll-related accounting tasks
* Help ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements
* Strong understanding of general accounting principles (GAAP)
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
