The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a versatile, high-energy Social Media & Content Specialist based in South Africa to join their growing team. This is not a “post and forget” role; they are seeking a hybrid creator who understands the intersection of organic storytelling and paid performance.
The ideal candidate can move seamlessly from filming and editing a high-impact Reel to analyzing the ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) of a Meta campaign. You will be the engine behind the brand’s digital presence, responsible for both how it looks and how it converts.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation (The "Hook")
* Conceptualize, shoot, and edit short-form video content (TikToks/Reels) that stops the scroll
* Use tools like Canva, CapCut, or the Adobe Suite to create polished static graphics and video assets
* Write compelling, platform-specific copy that maintains a consistent brand voice across all channels
Social Media & Strategy Management
* Own the content calendar and management for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok
* Conduct ongoing research on competitors and similar organizations in global markets to stay ahead of trends
* Engage with the community by responding to comments, managing DMs, and fostering brand loyalty
Paid Media & TikTok Operations
* Set up, launch, and monitor paid ad campaigns (primarily Meta/Instagram)
* Take full ownership of TikTok Business Center, including asset management, permissions, and ad execution
* Conduct A/B testing on creative assets and headlines to optimize for the lowest CPA (Cost Per Acquisition)
Performance Tracking & Tools
* Provide weekly reports on organic reach and paid campaign performance
* Recommend and implement a social media scheduling/management tool (e.g., Metricool, Later, or Buffer)
* Use data insights to refine and pivot creative strategy based on performance
Requirements
* Portfolio of Work:Demonstrated experience creating, editing, or managing social content
