Senior Video Editor — Motion Graphics & L&D Production

Full-Time | RemoteSalary: $3,500 – $4,000 per month

About the Role

We are hiring aSenior Video Editor with advanced motion graphics expertiseto lead the production of high-quality Learning & Development (L&D) content. This role focuses on creatingshort-form educational video coursesthat teach practical, real-world skills at scale.

This is ahands-on, senior-level rolewhere you will not only execute but also elevate the overall quality and effectiveness of video production. You will play a key role insetting visual standards, improving workflows, and ensuring content drives real learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead the editing and production of short-form educational videos using scripts, storyboards, presenter footage (AI or recorded), and assets
* Design and animate high-quality motion graphics that enhance understanding and engagement
* Build structured, step-by-step tutorial sequences demonstrating tools and software
* Ensure all deliverables align with brand guidelines and maintain a high production standard
* Source and integrate stock images and supporting visuals with strong creative judgment
* Maintain consistency in layout, spacing, symmetry, and safe zones across all outputs
* Track production time and help improve efficiency across the content pipeline
* Collaborate cross-functionally with the production team and provide clear, proactive communication
* Contribute to improving editing workflows, templates, and production systems

Required Skills & Experience
* 5+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics
* Advanced proficiency inAdobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools
* Strong motion design skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts visually
* Strong design sensibility (layout, spacing, hierarchy, and visual clarity)
* Proven experience creatingeducational, tutorial, or instructional video content
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work consistently
* Excellent English proficiency (written and comprehension)
* Highly self-directed, reliable, and comfortable working in a remote environment

Nice to Have
* Experience with Learning & Development (L&D) or e-learning content
* Familiarity with stock image/video platforms
* Experience working in structured, high-volume production environments
* Experience mentoring or guiding junior editors

Schedule & Commitment
* Full-time, Monday–Friday
* Must have reliable overlap with9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time
* Overtime available as needed
* Occasional company travel (fully covered)
