About the role:

We're looking for an experienced, versatile Senior Frontend Engineer who enjoys working with people. While this is first and foremost an engineering role, we're looking for someone who'd like to take over more and more ownership over parts of the Formbricks product and also grows into a team lead as the company keeps growing.

Responsibilities:
* Tackle complex engineering challenges
* Research, document and communicate architectural decisions
* Get your hands dirty in the code, making sure everything is clean, scalable, and built to last. You'll set the bar for your team's tech decisions.
* Be a central point of contact for others to drive collaboration and unblock when needed
* Ensure the team follows best practices (e.g. DRY) while pushing the product forward
* Hop on 1:1 meetings to tackle individual topics and bottlenecks

Who you are 🎯
* At least 5 years of experience in software development in a product / SaaS environment.
* You have a deep understanding of tech and solid knowledge in TypeScript. We use React and Next.js as our main frameworks.
* You have a solid understanding of distributed systems and modern web architecture principles, ensuring scalable, reliable & performant solutions.
* You articulate technical concepts clearly and keep your team and stakeholders informed with consistent, proactive updates.
* You are excited about how AI-based coding tools and agents make you more productive and help you ship faster.
* You're passionate about great design and creating fast, seamless user experiences, with a focus on browser performance and page speed optimization.
* You know your design patterns, applying them when they make sense to deliver practical, solution-oriented outcomes.
* You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing velocity with high-quality outcomes.
* You're ambitious and driven to push boundaries while maintaining an eye for detail and delivering results.
