We create curated social adventures for solo travellers in their 30s, 40s and 50s. Since launching in 2014, we’ve seen impressive year-on-year growth and become the category leader in a thriving, rapidly expanding market with the majority of our business now in the US.

About the roleWe’re looking for an experienced and target-driven Travel Expert to join our Sales team. At the same time, our sales function is evolving - we’re building stronger structures, playbooks, and best practices, so you’ll have the chance not just to succeed individually, but to help shape how we sell, to refine processes, and share insights that influence the way our entire team operates.

You'll have a set roster of hours with occasional flexibility to support team sickness, leave or peak periods. Please note these periods may fall on weekends, public holiday shifts, or evenings.

Responsibilities:
* Owning your pipeline: managing inbound phone, email, and live chat leads with speed, precision, and care to consistently exceed quota and conversion benchmarks.
* Building trust with customers: using discovery questions, storytelling, and empathy to guidetravellers toward booking their next big adventure.
* Adapting and innovating: tailoring approaches to different customers, testing creative tactics, and flagging risks or shifts in behaviour to managers early.
* Driving team effectiveness: sharing best practices, contributing to sales scripts, crafting teamwide AI efficiency levers and contributing to objection-handling playbooks.
* Collaborating across time-zones: provide handovers between timezone teams, sharinginsights
Requeriments:
* A strong track record in sales - consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a performance-driven environment.
* Experience in building customer rapport: confident in positioning and objection handling, with a relationship-led approach in a B2C environment or with a lifestyle brand, across phone and written word.
* Proven ability to multi-task across inbound and outbound enquiries across live chat, phone, and email; balancing speed and attention to detail with personalization.
* Comfort working independently: managing pipeline, flagging risks, and making proactive decisions.
* Collaborative mindset: able to demonstrate teamwork across mutli-functional/timezone teams. You are proactive with regards to sharing insights
* Growth mindset: openness to coaching, willingness to mentor peers, and a drive to continuously raise the bar. Hungry to see your own performance grow, as well as the team’s.
* Passion for travel and human connection - you’ll need to resonate with company’s mission and customer base.
* Adaptability: thrives in a high-growth, startup-style environment with change and ambiguity.
We’re after the right person and if you don’t quite hit all the criteria, we’d still encourage you to apply. We’d love to chat and see if you could be a great fit for us.
