Platform Operations Associate
Location:Remote
Compensation:$1,500 - $2,000 / month
Type:Full-Time Contractor (40 hrs/week)
Time: 8am to 5pm CET
About Our Company
Our client is aiming to revolutionize private asset management by building a social platform to democratize investments in alternative assets in Europe (start-ups, private equity, art, crypto-assets, etc.).Our vision:Alternative asset classes will grow fast in the coming years, as the returns of more traditional investments (real estate, stock markets, etc.) are decreasing, inflation is growing, and tech makes it easier than ever to democratize this type of investments outside of the Ultra High Net Worth sphere. As a first step, our client has been building the go-to platform for everything related to angel investing in startups. Our client now empowers angel investors to invite their network to co-invest alongside them, automating all the regulatory and process flows under the hood.
We are now enabling them to easily start small VC funds to share their deal flow even more easily, and will open other asset classes (such as Private Equity) to become the one-stop shop for non-professional investors in all alternative assets.
The Role: Mission & Impact
As aPlatform Operations Associate, you’ll be the backbone of our client’s deal execution engine — owning the back-office and administrative tasks that keep SPVs moving from creation to closing. This is a task-driven role where yourvelocityand ability to move things forward without friction will make a real difference.
Your mission revolves around three core pillars:
Key Responsibilities
01 SPV Lifecycle Execution
* You’ll own critical execution steps at every stage of the deal lifecycle:
* • Generate deal launch documents following a dedicated playbook, ensuring every step is completed on time and correctly.
* • Manage deal closings end-to-end: coordinate document signatures and oversee fund wire transfers following established processes.
* • Own KYC and investor onboarding workflows — collecting required documents, running compliance checks, sending reminders, and escalating blockers fast.
02 SPV Preparation & Backoffice
* You’ll handle the administrative foundation that makes every deal possible:
* • Execute incorporation-related administrative tasks for new SPVs, coordinating with notaries, domiciliation partners, and legal counterparts.
* • Manage ongoing admin tasks throughout the SPV lifecycle — document filing, entity tracking, deadline monitoring.
* • Prepare and maintain SPV data in our backoffice platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness at all times.
03 Banking Operations
* You’ll own the relationship with our banking partners and keep accounts running smoothly:
* • Drive the end-to-end creation of bank accounts for new investment vehicles, coordinating directly with banking partners.
* • Monitor account activity across ongoing deals and escalate any blocking issues without delay. • Track and follow up on pending banking tasks to ensure nothing stalls mid-process.
* It’s a high-responsibility, execution-focused freelance role sitting at the heart of our deal operations — you’ll work in close coordination with our Operations team across 500+ deals and 60+ investor nationalities.
The challenges
* Speed & volume: we aim to launch each deal in under a week — the pace is relentless and timelines are tight
* Precision under pressure: errors in documents, bank details, or KYC records have real consequences in a regulated environment
* Complexity: multi-stakeholder, legally sensitive processes involving banks, notaries, compliance teams, and investors simultaneously
* Multitasking: juggling tasks across multiple concurrent deals at different lifecycle stages, without letting anything slip
About you
* Experience: 2–4 years in an operations, back-office, or administrative role — ideally in fintech, legal tech, or VC
* Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Execution-first mindset: you’re judged on velocity — things get done and don’t stay blocked on your watch
* Highly structured: you work from checklists, playbooks, and trackers with discipline, and flag deviations immediately
* Detail-oriented: meticulous in handling documents, compliance steps, and administrative records in a regulated environment
* Banking & legal comfort: familiar with bank account management, KYC processes, notarial coordination, or SPV structures — or eager to master them fast
* Deeply autonomous: you identify what needs to move and you make it happen without waiting to be told
* Team player: you communicate blockers fast, collaborate across Ops and legal, and keep everyone aligned
* Curious about fintech & investing: a working knowledge of investment vehicles and SPVs is a strong plus
