Job Description

Role:Head of Production (Senior / Strategic)

Priority Location: SA/LATAM

Working Hours: 8AM - 5PM EST/PST

Salary Range:$4,000–$5,000 USD/month (if the candidate demonstrates proven impact and pedigree)

* Strategic Leadership: Own content growth strategy, cross-platform expansion, and audience engagement.
* Team Leadership: Manage operational and production staff; implement best practices, workflows, and SOPs.
* Content Oversight: Ensure high-quality output across all channels; supervise clipping, editing, distribution, and publishing.
* Growth & Analytics: Identify trends, optimize content reach, and scale the brand efficiently.
* Cultural & Political Alignment: Understand geopolitical content sensitivities and maintain alignment with the brand’s nuanced US-China engagement stance.
* Demonstrable experience scaling media or creator brands, ideally YouTube-focused.
* Recognizable track record with past clients/brands.
* Strong critical thinking, initiative, and ability to manage ambiguity.
* Familiarity with geopolitics and a balanced, open-minded approach to content.
* Native or near-native English proficiency; strong writing and communication skills.
* Time zone alignment (South Africa or LATAM) and reliable internet.
* 7+ years in content production, media operations, or digital brand growth.
* Experience managing teams and scaling multi-platform content.
* Proven ability to grow YouTube or similar digital channels successfully (Needs to have worked with a very established channel, influencer, etc. The channel they'd be responsible for growing has 1M subscribers already, and they have 3M across other platforms.)
* YouTube, Rumble, Patreon, Substack, Chinese social platforms
* Twitter/X for sourcing show assets
* Live show platforms for real-time asset playback
* General productivity and AI tools for content creation and distribution
