Financial & Market Data Analyst : Short Term Rental sector
Location:Remote (Preferred: Egypt & Philippines)Compensation:$1,500 - 2,000/month (USD), based on experienceIndustry:Real Estate / Short-Term Rentals (STR)Schedule:Full-time 40hrs/week, flexible hours with overlap to EST business hours

This is an opportunity to work directly with the leader in the field and support high-impact decisions aroundproperty acquisition, market selection, and revenue optimization.
We’re seeking a sharp, detail-oriented analyst with strong financial acumen and a passion for real estate data. You’ll be instrumental in generating revenue forecasts, and surfacing investment insights for Airbnb/STR properties across multiple markets in the US.
Responsibilities
* Analyze short-term rental market data to identify high-performing investment opportunities
* Evaluate property-level revenue, ROI, and cap rate projections
* Prepare custom reports including revenue forecasts and underwriting reports
* Interpret STR platform data (AirDNA, Airbnb, etc.) and translate into actionable insights
* Presents strategic decisions around pricing, occupancy optimization, and market entry
* Collaborate directly with the founder and internal team on high-value client projects
* Maintain data dashboards and reporting systems (Excel/Google Sheets)
* Conduct periodic deep dives into regulatory environments and STR-specific financial risks
Requirements
* Strong background in real estate, data analytics, or related field
* Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
* Experience working with STR-specific data tools like AirDNA or PriceLabs is a plus
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and deliver under tight deadlines
* Excellent English communication skills
* Reliable internet connection and professional remote work setup
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with short-term rental regulations in North America
* Understanding of STR KPIs: RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, NOI
* Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
* Python or SQL skills (a bonus, not required)
