Ecommerce Operations & Marketing Manager

Role Overview

We are hiring an experiencedEcommerce Operations & Marketing Managerto support a portfolio of Shopify storefronts across various client and internal brands. This is an execution-first role with growing ownership, ideal for a strong ecommerce operator who understands how day-to-day actions connect directly to revenue, conversion, and store performance.

The role begins with hands-on execution across multiple stores, including product launches, campaign deployment, and merchandising updates. Over time, this individual will take increasing ownership of workflows, proactively identify opportunities for improvement, and partner with leadership to optimize ecommerce performance and operations at scale.

This is not an entry-level or purely administrative role. We are seeking a mid-to-senior ecommerce professional who can execute precisely today and evolve into a trusted operational owner across multiple stores.

Ramp-Up & Ownership Expectations

This role starts as execution-focused, with onboarding support and clear direction. Within the first60–90 days, the Ecommerce Operations & Marketing Manager is expected to begin:
* Taking ownership of recurring processes and execution workflows
* Identifying gaps, inefficiencies, or risks across stores and campaigns
* Proactively proposing improvements to streamline execution and improve performance
Over time, this role becomes a go-to operator for launch coordination, workflow optimization, and ecommerce execution excellence across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Multi-Store Operations
* Build, launch, and manage products across multiple Shopify stores
* Upload, optimize, and QA product images, descriptions, pricing, and variants
* Organize collections, tags, and merchandising logic
* Update homepage banners and featured collections
* Conduct detailed QA on product pages, including mobile optimization, tracking, and analytics

Ecommerce Performance Optimization
* Monitor store performance metrics including conversion rate, AOV, revenue by product, and launch performance
* Identify opportunities to improve merchandising, bundles, upsells, and product presentation
* Suggest improvements to product pages and launch strategy based on performance data
* Partner with leadership to test and iterate on ideas that improve conversion and revenue

Email & SMS Marketing Execution (Klaviyo)
* Build and deploy automated email and SMS flows
* Schedule campaigns and manage campaign calendars
* Segment lists according to strategic guidelines
* Execute A/B tests (subject lines, timing, content)
* Pull and report on key campaign performance metrics
* Ensure campaigns are deployed accurately and on schedule
Strategy and planning direction are provided by leadership; this role focuses on execution, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Social Media Operations Support
* Schedule and deploy approved social content across platforms
* Repurpose content for different channels and formats
* Ensure platform-specific formatting, sizing, and posting requirements are followed
* Maintain a strong understanding of how different content formats perform across platforms

Product Launch Coordination

For new product drops and seasonal launches:
* Upload products and finalize store merchandising
* Build supporting landing pages
* Schedule launch email and SMS campaigns
* Coordinate social rollout schedules
* Ensure tracking, pixels, and UTM parameters are functioning correctly
* Execute pre-launch, launch-day, and post-launch checklists

Process Ownership & Proactive Execution
* Identify issues or inefficiencies in workflows and propose practical solutions
* Document, refine, and improve SOPs for ecommerce and marketing execution
* Collaborate with leadership to streamline multi-store operations
* Operate comfortably in a fast-growing environment where priorities shift
* Take initiative without waiting for detailed instructions

Creative & Tooling Requirements
* Proficiency withAdobe Creative Suite, primarilyIllustrator and Photoshop
* Ability to make light edits to existing marketing assets using templates
* Update pre-made graphics for promotions, launches, and campaigns

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a candidate who:
* Has3+ years of experiencein ecommerce operations or digital marketing execution
* Has supported or managed multiple Shopify stores simultaneously
* Understands how ecommerce execution impacts revenue and conversion
* Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable under pressure
* Communicates clearly and professionally in written and async environments
* Is proactive, self-directed, and comfortable owning outcomes

* Familiarity with Shopify apps and launch tooling
