Working Hours: Full-time, overlap with Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pmEST/CST.

Salary: $3,500 - $6,000/month depending on experience

Our firm is seeking aControllerto join our small team of financial professionals dedicated to the behavioral health industry. We partner with mental health and addiction treatment facilities to provide world-class financial infrastructure, ensuring their focus remains on patient care.This is a full-time opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself, managing the full-cycle accounting across our portfolio of clients, making a direct impact on the financial health of organizations that change lives.

A typical day as the Controller includes:
* Portfolio Oversight:Managing the full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of behavioral health clients.
* Hard Close:Ensuring a "Hard Close" is consistently achieved by the 5th business day of each month.
* Team Leadership:Supervising and mentoring a team of bookkeepers, performing high-level reviews of their work in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
* Cash Flow Architecture:Maintaining and updating weekly 6-month rolling cash forecasts, navigating a high-complexity reimbursement environment.
* Tech Stack Optimization:Utilizing and optimizing firm and client tech stack to skyrocket efficiency and remain lean.
* Data Integrity:Ensuring all financial data is "dashboard-ready" for dashboard integration, specifically tracking clinical KPIs alongside financial metrics.
* Operational Cadence:Being available to overlap with US Eastern/Central business hours, and maintaining high accountability using tools to manage strict deadlines and Loom for training and feedback.
