Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervise Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Financial Closures (GAAP Compliant)
* Accruals
* Payroll entries
* Revenue Recognition
* Cost of Sales
* Month-End Transaction Processing
* Expense Reporting
* Accrued Interest
* Financial Reporting
* Royalties and Licensing Fees
* Analyze Financial Data
* Participate in the development of financial strategic plans
* Monitor financial performance of client companies
* Supervise Staff Accountants
* Provide daily guidance to staff in movement of client accounts
* Assist in client deliverables and ensure accuracy of reporting provided to clients
* Budget and Cash Flow Planning Analysis
* Variance Reporting
* Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with company procedures
* Consult with clients regarding financial best practices and evaluation of systems and processes
Additional Responsibilities:
* Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and aging analysis
* Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including bill processing, approvals, and payment execution
* Oversee vendor communications related to billing, payments, and account reconciliation
* Manage client correspondence from accounting email accounts, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate communication
* Serve as a liaison between clients, vendors, and internal accounting teams
Qualifications:
* CPA Highly Desirable
* Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
* Minimum of 3 years in Public Accounting
* Prior Outsourced Accounting ExperienceDesirable
* Track record of implementing process improvements and cleaning up accounting records
* Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
* Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, etc.)
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Ability to independently prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision
* Experience with most, if not all, of the following software: Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Yardi, Sage Intacct, ADP, Bill.com, Power BI, Teams, SharePoint
