B2B Sales Executive

Job Overview

We are recruiting an experienced and commercially groundedB2B Sales Executiveto support the continued growth of a premium UK gifting and food brand operating within thespeciality retail and wholesale space.

This role is focused onrelationship-led B2B sales to small and mid-sized UK retailers, includinggarden centres, independent gift shops, speciality stores, and regional stockists. Success in this position comes from understanding the realities of selling intosmaller buying teams, where margins matter, relationships are personal, and follow-up is essential.

This is not a high-volume or enterprise sales role. Candidates who have only sold intolarge national chains or huge wholesalers, without exposure to independents or speciality retail, will not be suitable.

You will engage customers throughCRM-led email outreach, scheduled calls, and video meetings, representing the brand professionally and building long-term trading relationships.

Key Responsibilities
* Proactively manage and grow a portfolio ofUK-based small to mid-sized B2B accounts
* Sell intogarden centres, independent gift shops, speciality retailers, and regional stockists
* Conduct professionalvideo calls and virtual meetingswith UK buyers and owners
* Build long-term relationships throughrapport-driven, consultative selling
* Manage outbound and inbound sales activity using aCRM system
* Follow up consistently with leads and existing customers via email and calls
* Confidently handlepricing, margins, and unit-level calculations
* Identify opportunities for repeat orders, upselling, and seasonal gifting ranges
* Maintain accurate CRM records of pipelines, conversations, and deal stages
* Collaborate closely with the internal UK team to onboard and support accounts
* Represent the brand with confidence, warmth, and professionalism at all times

Requirements

Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven B2B sales experience selling: (Food, gifting, FMCG, or speciality retail productsandDirectly intosmall to mid-sized retailers, such as: Gift shops. Garden Centers, Lifestyle retailers)
* Demonstrable experience selling into the UK market(UK buyers and decision-makers)
* Experience managingrelationship-led sales, not just transactional or high-volume deals
* Comfortable conductingvideo calls and virtual meetingswith UK clients(No fake or virtual backgrounds β€” professional presence is essential)
* Strongwritten English, with the ability to write clear, confident, and persuasive sales emails
* Numerically confident β€” able to calculateunit pricing, margins, and case costs
* Hands-on experience usingCRM systemsfor pipeline management and follow-ups
* Confident, personable, and skilled at buildingrapport and trustwith smaller buyers
* Tenacious and self-motivated, with a clear understanding ofcommission-based sales
* Professional appearance and communication style suitable for UK retail customers
