Position Ad Creative Editor

Location: LATAM/SA

Salary: $1800 - $2500

The Role

You will be our dedicated ad editor. Your sole focus is taking raw video footage, ad copy, and creative direction and turning them into high-volume, high-converting ad variations for Meta and TikTok. You are not editing YouTube videos or organic social content -- your entire job is ads. We follow a modular ad creation framework: we film batches of hooks (5-15 seconds), bodies (30-60 seconds), and CTAs (5-10 seconds) separately, and you assemble them into hundreds of unique ad combinations. You will also create static image ads, add text overlays, b-roll, and other visual elements that drive conversions. Current ad performance insight: raw, authentic-style ads are significantly outperforming polished, produced content. We lean heavily into the raw style -- do not over-produce.

What You'll Do

• Take raw footage dumps (hooks, bodies, CTAs) and edit them into polished,

platform-ready ad creatives

• Assemble modular ad variations by mixing and matching hooks, bodies, and CTAs to produce ~100 ad variations per week

• Deliver every ad in two versions: overlay (text overlays, b-roll, photos) and clean (raw footage only)

• Add text overlays, captions, and visual effects that enhance ad performance (bold

callouts, before/after reveals, progress bars)

• Match visual elements to copy -- when the script says 'I used to weigh 315 lbs,' you cut to the 315 lb photo/video. This intuition is critical.

• Create static ad images and carousel creatives as needed (1080x1080 for Meta feed)

• Deliver finished ads in correct specs for Meta (1:1, 4:5, 9:16) and TikTok (9:16)

• Organize and maintain a clean asset library (footage, photos, graphics) in Google Drive with clear naming conventions

• Deliver completed ad batches to the media buyer with clear file names and batch counts via Slack

• Ensure FTC compliance: 'Results may vary' disclaimer on all transformation and

testimonial content

• Self-manage your workflow. You receive footage and copy; we expect finished ads with minimal back-and-forth.

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or

similar). Speed matters -- you need to be fast.

• Experience editing short-form video ads for Meta and/or TikTok. You understand

pacing, hooks, pattern interrupts, and what makes someone stop scrolling.

• Strong eye for direct response creative. You know the difference between 'pretty' and 'converting.' You have seen enough winning ads to know what good looks like.

• Visual-to-copy matching intuition. When you hear a line about a past struggle, you

instinctively reach for the corresponding photo or clip. This skill is non-negotiable.

• Attention to detail. No typos in overlays. No misaligned text. No audio issues. What you deliver must be ready to launch.

• Self-management and communication. You work asynchronously with a small remote team. You hit deadlines, flag issues proactively, and manage your own workload.

• Comfort with high volume. This is not a '3 ads per week' role. We produce ~100

variations per week. You need to be comfortable with that pace.

Nice to Have

• Experience with fitness or health brands

• Familiarity with modular ad frameworks (hooks + bodies + CTAs)

• Experience with Meta Ad Library research and competitor creative analysis

• Basic motion graphics or After Effects skills

• Understanding of ad metrics (CTR, hook rate, hold rate, ROAS) and how creative

decisions impact them
