Position Summary
The Staff Accountant will support day-to-day trust and corporate accounting functions, assist with reconciliations and reporting, and ensure accuracy across all property and client financial records.
Key Responsibilities
Trust Accounting
* Manage the rental income flow from tenant payments through owner distributions, ensuring timeliness and precision.

* Reconcile property ledgers with data from third-party systems (e.g., Propertyware).

* Assist in delinquency and collections management.

* Respond to accounting inquiries from clients, tenants, and internal teams.

Corporate Accounting
* Handle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

* Perform reconciliations in QuickBooks with data from third-party providers.

* Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.

Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

* 2+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including any supervisory responsibilities.
