About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Social Media Manager to lead content creation, distribution, and community engagement across multiple social platforms. This is a high-priority, urgent hire due to recent changes in marketing leadership. The Social Media Manager will own the social content calendar, experiment with emerging platforms, amplify user-generated content, and ensure consistent engagement with our clients community. The ideal candidate is creative, adaptable, and execution-focused—capable of turning ideas into compelling content that resonates with users in the AI and generative media space.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Management
* Build and manage a comprehensive content calendar across key channels.
* Create, publish, and manage content across Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and additional emerging platforms.
* Curate and amplify user-generated content to strengthen community visibility and engagement.
* Collaborate with internal creatives and engineers to translate technical concepts into engaging social storytelling.
Community Engagement
* Actively interact with the community on all platforms to foster conversation and excitement.
* Respond to comments, questions, and content submissions in an authentic, timely manner.
* Maintain consistent posting routines to keep platforms active and growing.
* Channel Growth & Experimentation
* Identify and explore new social channels and content trends to expand brand reach.
* Test creative strategies, formats, and storytelling approaches.
* Analyze post and channel performance to refine content direction and improve engagement metrics.
Skills & Requirements
* Stream Diffusion: Understanding and hands-on familiarity with this open-source AI model.
* TouchDesigner: Ability to work with this visual programming tool used for real-time media creation, often used by digital artists and DJs.
Helpful Knowledge
* Experience with generative media tools such as Hugging Face, ComfyUI, or similar platforms.
* Understanding of generative art, open-source AI workflows, and modern creative tech ecosystems.
* Hard Skills
* Strong proficiency using social media management platforms and native analytics tools.
* Demonstrated experience creating and distributing content across Instagram, Reddit, YouTube, and related platforms.
* Basic content production skills: copywriting, short-form editing, simple graphic creation, and asset organisation.
* Comfortable working with AI tools, creative software, or open-source technologies.
