Role:Β  Social Media Manager with some VA duties

Priority Location: South Africa / Philippines

Working Hours: 40 hour work week EST (hours are flexible, bulk work will be done Mon - Fri, sometimes meetings with the Founder on weekends or after hours)

Salary Range: $1000 - $1200 USD per month

About the Role:This is a high-impact opportunity to be the creative and strategic force behind a dynamic commercial construction startup, building a digital presence from the ground up. You will take full ownership of our brand's online presence, managing everything from creating engaging video and social media content to optimizing our website with SEO best practices. As a self-starter with a passion for marketing, you will have the autonomy to drive brand visibility and directly contribute to our company's mission and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and manage all social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube, by developing a consistent content calendar and a rhythm of posting.
* Create and edit engaging video content, adding consistent brand elements and repurposing long-form content for short-form channels like Instagram and TikTok.
* Format and upload blog posts and articles, applying SEO best practices to improve inbound traffic and ensure content aligns with the brand voice.
* Drive marketing and visibility efforts to grow the lead pipeline and brand presence by tracking all lead generation activities and key metrics.
* Track growth and engagement metrics, run tests on posts and ads, and provide simple reports to the founder with clear visibility into performance.
* Create branded pitch decks, proposal templates, and client-facing presentations using Canva, ensuring consistent use of brand standards.
* Document all recurring workflows by creating SOPs and templates to improve organizational efficiency and scalability.
* Manage all general administrative tasks and handle correspondence on behalf of the owner.
* Conduct research to support key business decisions and proactively recommend new experiments and strategies.
* Assist in project management and coordination as needed to ensure smooth execution and delivery of all tasks.
* Link social channels, blogs, and contact forms to improve user flow.
Qualifications:

Required
* Possesses proven experience as a Social Media Manager Manager for service based or construction companies.
* Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
* Proficiency in Canva, with strong design and layout sensibility.
* Skilled in video editing tools (CapCut, Descript, Canva, or Adobe Premiere).
* Familiar with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
* Is a proactive self-starter who can work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
* Demonstrates strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
* Is able to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Is highly coachable and adaptable, with a strong work ethic to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Preferred
* Experience in the construction or real estate industry.
* Knowledge of tools for project management and communication.
