Role: Short-Form Video Editor

Priority Location: South Africa & Latin America

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Flexible schedule with required availability for team meetings aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST) | Typical team meetings around 11:00 AM EST

Salary Range: Base Salary: $1,300 - $3,000 USD ($) per month + performance bonuses (up to $1,000/month)(The final offer is at the client’s discretion and depends on the candidate’s interview result, skills, and experience.)

Type of contract:Independent Contractor
* Edit high-volume short-form video advertisements for paid social campaigns
* Create engaging content optimized for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital channels
* Incorporate motion graphics, animations, visual effects, and design elements into video content
* Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to execute campaign concepts
* Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and performance objectives
* Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Apply feedback efficiently while maintaining high creative standards
* Optimize workflow and turnaround times to support a fast-paced production environment
* Participate in team meetings and creative reviews
* Maintain organized project files and version control
Requirements:

Essential Skills and Experience
* Proven experience editing short-form video content for paid advertising campaigns
* Strong understanding of direct-response marketing and performance-driven creative
* Experience with motion graphics and animation
* Basic graphic design capabilities
* Strong storytelling and pacing skills
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Comfortable receiving and implementing feedback quickly
Technical Requirements
* Advanced proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
* Powerful computer capable of handling large video files efficiently
* Reliable high-speed internet connection
* Professional remote working setup
