Role Overview:

The SEO Specialist has broad digital marketing knowledge with a strong expertise in SEO. Their primary responsibility will be to support clients with on-page and off-page optimization, technical SEO enhancements, and keyword-targeted content recommendations to drive organic visibility and rankings. The right person will also have broad understanding of digital marketing and the ability to perform basic cross-functional tasks within SEO, PPC, and content marketing.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct keyword research and mapping
* Optimize site structure, metadata, and content for search engines
* Implement technical SEO improvements (site speed, crawlability, schema, etc.)
* Set up reports and monitor rankings, organic traffic, and performance metrics
* Execute competitor analysis and content gap analysis
* Ability to draw insights and analysis from key metrics and performance
* Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles
* Build and maintain a strong local SEO presence
* Recommend content opportunities to support SEO strategy
* Collaborate with the Content Specialist for SEO-friendly copy
* Make recommendations to the project manager and client for key optimization tactics
* Execute tasks accurately and on time
* Build reports and maintain client-facing dashboards and workbooks
* Stay up-to-date with latest search engine trends and best practices
* Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Qualifications:

Required:
* 5+ years in SEO execution
* Strong understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
* Proven track record improving search visibility and rankings
* Comfortable in a client-facing role
* Experience working with US-based small and mid-sized businesses
* Experience with SE Ranking software a plus
