<p><strong>What you’ll do</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"><br></span></p>
<p>This role is specifically within the Predict team, which is focused on integrating Prediction Markets directly into the MetaMask platform. As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will be instrumental in building the core infrastructure and user-facing features that enable millions of users to engage with prediction markets securely and intuitively within their wallet.</p>
<ul>
<li>Designing and implementing the front-end components and user experience for prediction market interactions across MetaMask clients.</li>
<li>Developing robust and scalable backend services and APIs to fetch real-time market data, manage user positions, and facilitate transaction signing.</li>
<li>Ensuring seamless and secure integration with on-chain prediction market protocols.</li>
<li>Optimizing the performance and security of all Predict features, handling real-time data feeds and high-volume transaction throughput.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years working with mobile-based technologies</li>
<li>3+ years building websites and/or applications</li>
<li>Experience with React and React Native</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of modern Javascript (ES6/TypeScript/etc.)</li>
<li>Familiarity with blockchain fundamentals and Web3 integration</li>
<li>Working knowledge of cross platform/browser compatibility</li>
<li>Experience working with APIs and middleware services</li>
<li>Experience working in an agile development team</li>
<li>Experience developing applications with clean code practices, testing, and adherence to coding standards</li>
<li>Understanding of web-based security considerations</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Would be great if you brought this to the role</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with prediction markets, token trading and/or sports betting</li>
<li>Experience with DeFi protocols, especially prediction markets</li>
<li>Knowledge of financial products in the digital space</li>
<li>Interest in blockchain technologies and Web3</li>
<li>Basic understanding of cryptography principles</li>
<li>Experience working in distributed teams</li>
<li>Previous experience working in Web3</li>
<li>Familiarity with the Web3 wallet ecosystem</li>
<li>Experience with performance optimization</li>
