Role Summary
TheSales Operations Assistantworks strategically with Emerging Business and Mid-Market Account Executives to drive the proposal and deal-structuring process. This role is responsible for managing complex quoting, ensuring compliance across all documentation, and facilitating seamless order placement. The primary objectives are focused on accuracy, responsiveness, and optimized workflows to maximize company revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
* Deal Structuring & Quoting:Serve as the centralized point of contact for all deal structuring, including new quotes, quote refreshes, and subscription renewal quotes.
* Vendor Coordination:Request vendor quotes based on specifications provided by Sales or Solutions Architects. Submit and maintain vendor deal registrations, support renewal requests, and manage maintenance records.
* Salesforce Management:Generate detailed, complex customer-facing proposals and contracts usingSalesforce CPQ. Maintain precise data records within Salesforce.com to ensure pipeline accuracy.
* Workflow Optimization:Ensure timely routing of opportunities and quotes for approval to the proper stakeholders.
* Data Analysis:Prepare and analyze sales performance reports, focusing on data consistency and upholding standard response time expectations.
* Compliance & Validation:Review and validate required Customer Acceptance methods and Purchase Orders prior to processing. Ensure all proposals adhere to internal policies and contractual obligations.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:Coordinate with Finance, Sales Operations, and Order Desk teams to resolve deal-related issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Communication:Exceptional English proficiency (both spoken and written) to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and global stakeholders.
* Remote Proficiency:Strong remote office management skills, including the ability to self-manage time, priorities, and expectations in a work-from-home environment.
* Analytical Thinking:Ability to synthesize complex information, research data skillfully, and develop alternative solutions to problem-solving challenges.
* Technical Aptitude:A drive to continuously build knowledge of company systems and maintain high standards of accuracy and thoroughness.
* Professionalism:Proven customer relationship skills and the ability to work with multiple alliance partners and vendors daily.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience:Prior experience in Sales Operations, Deal Desk, or Sales Support roles.
* Industry Knowledge:Previous experience within technology services organizations or competitive IT sales knowledge.
* CRM Mastery:Prior experience usingSalesforce CRM(specifically CPQ) is highly desirable.
